Former IT professional, Logan Lincoln took up a career in the real estate industry and since making the change, hasn’t looked back.
Logan has joined leading Brisbane real estate agency Ray White CBD Residential as a property sales consultant.
Prior to this role, Logan spent four years in the IT industry and was employed by a number of high profile telecommunication and IT brands including Smart Business Systems where he worked as a networking technical advisor and sales consultant.
Logan gained crucial experience in the sales industry working within the telemarketing sales department for Optus and AAPT. He also spent time working as a bookmaker’s clerk.
Logan graduated into the IT industry following studies in electronic commerce and information technology at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane.
The Fortitude Valley resident said he was looking to combine his professional experience and passion for sales and technology to bridge the gap between the two industries, which would help him to develop a greater understanding of the property industry.
“I moved into real estate from the IT industry, because I wanted to get into a sales-based career,” Logan said. “There is certainly the potential for financial gain if you work hard and stay committed to the process which I’m willing to do.”
“The property industry is a long way from the IT industry but I believe being technologically savvy is an excellent advantage, particularly as industries across the sectors are actively increasing their use of technology to improve business.”
Logan said the change of scenery had been a refreshing experience and one that had assured him his decision to adopt a career in the property industry was for the long term.
Logan will be specialising in listing, selling and marketing property in Brisbane’s inner-city market. |
